    Media Manager Dual-Boot Support
The Media Manager should allow the user to select renaming rules that work across multiple Operating Systems. I dual-boot Ubuntu [Songbird] and Windows 7 [iTunes] (so I can sync my iPod Touch) and ext3 (I use this for a shared partition) can have many characters in paths that ntfs does not allow.

My temporary patch was to modify the source code to apply the same rules to Linux as it does to Windows, but I would like to see some sort of control built in to Songbird.

Oh I see now! I was under the impression that it needed a directory to sync to, not an individual JSON file. This solved my problem, thanks a million! :D

Syncing to Home FTP Server Fails
I cannot sync with my home FTP Server. Here is the log file entry.

My vsftpd log also shows successful incoming connections. For whatever reason, the upload is what is failing. It looks like a really really big request, I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

    Server:
    - Ubuntu 9.04 Server Edition
    - vsFTPd

    Client:
    - Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Edition & Windows Vista Ultimate
    - Firefox 3.0.10 & 3.0.11 (respectively)
    - XMarks BYOS (both)

A comment on the question "Can you associate multiple artists with one album?" in Songbird:

I should've been more specific, my bad. I mean associating multiple artists with an individual song. Is that possible? – mako18, on October 22, 2008 19:27
