Suggestion!
Definitely one of the most challenging aspects would be getting a comprehensive database. Is there anyway for you to say tap Yellowpages or some kind of food directory?

Also if there is some way you can integrate with existing Malaysian food bloggers e.g. work out a standard format I think this app can really take off. Or create a website yourself to allow contributors/ food bloggers to put food reviews.

As your things pick up maybe you can get a featured article/ restaurant per country per week. So many possibilities so little time. Haha!

You have an interesting concept going on there and I think there is a lot of potential for this application. I'll post my suggestion in a separate post.
