Marc LaFountain replied on August 28, 2009 20:33 to the question "How do I reblog a post from one blog to another under the same login?" in Tumblr:
Hi, Robbie. A default blog can reblog an additional blog on the same account. But, an additional blog cannot reblog a default blog on the same account. So, having two accounts might work best.

Marc LaFountain replied on August 28, 2009 19:15 to the question "Is there any API call (or will there be any in the future) for submitting user content?" in Tumblr:
Hi, Martin. The API doesn't support Submit. But, if you only want to accept Text submissions, just use the Configure link in the Submissions area for the blog on your Dashboard to restrict submissions to Text posts.

Hello! zyaada.tumblr.com is directed to zyaada.us. Have you clicked Customize on the Dashboard, clicked the Info tab, unchecked the Use a Custom Domain box, and clicking Save Changes?

Marc LaFountain replied on August 25, 2009 20:10 to the question "Profile Visibility?" in Tumblr:
Hi again, Theodore. You have have multiple blogs on the same account with multiple userids and portrait photos. Viewers will not know they are linked unless you include author tags in your theme, reblog from an additional blog to the default blog, or explicitly state a link between them. However, following and liking are limited to the default blog and aren't supported on additional blogs.
Thanks!

Marc LaFountain replied on August 25, 2009 20:03 to the question "Affiliate Link Policy?" in Tumblr:
Hi, Theodore. You're free to use AdSense, Amazon affiliate links, and things like them on your blog. Please do keep in mind that while we do allow these things, we require that Tumblr be used primarily as a blogging service geared toward unique, original content and not primarily as a marketing, sales, or promotional tool. We do not allow blogs that exists solely or primarily for affiliate marketing or keyword marketing on Tumblr.
Thanks!

Marc LaFountain replied on August 24, 2009 20:01 to the question "What are tags for in Tumblr?" in Tumblr:
So, you are going to http://tumblr.com/dashboard and using the box in the upper right corner. You are using the My Dashboard or My Posts option. And, you are not getting your private posts when searching for words or phrases from them. Is all that correct?

Hi, again. You cannot email private posts to a public blog. You would need to create them via the Dashboard web interface. But, I will pass your suggestion on to the team. Thanks!

Marc LaFountain replied on August 21, 2009 12:37 to the question "Deleting multiple posts at the same time?" in Tumblr:
Hi, Tony. There is no way to mass delete posts from a blog. If you wish, you can delete your Tumblr account or leave an additional blog and reregister to start fresh. But, this will wipe out everything from the account (icon/avatar, description, posts, followed, following, posts, Custom HTML, etc.).
You can delete your account or leave an additional blog at:
