Marc LaFountain replied on August 03, 2009 00:30 to the question "Deleting a specific older post ?" in Tumblr:
Hi, Katherine. You can click the title of a blog on the right side of the Dashboard to see all the posts made to that blog.
You can also use the box in the upper right corner of the Dashboard to search for a word or phrase from a post.

Marc LaFountain replied on August 02, 2009 16:45 to the problem "Animated avatar images are converted to static PNG" in Tumblr:
Hello! While we allowed animated GIF portrait photos / avatars at one time, we do not allow them now. So, you would have to use a still image.

Marc LaFountain replied on August 01, 2009 19:42 to the problem "Can't turn a photo post into a photoset." in Tumblr:
A photoset is a Photo post with two or more photos. A single-photo Photo post cannot be a photoset. A post once made cannot be converted between types, though the post can be edited in other ways.
I will pass your suggestions around Photo posts along to the team.

It may take days or weeks for Google to reindex your content under the new URL.

Marc LaFountain replied on July 30, 2009 16:07 to the question "audio on blog, not on dashboard" in Tumblr:
Hello! Certain types of embed may not show on the Dashboard. Is there any reason you can't just use a Tumblr Audio post for your audio? Audio post embeds do show on the Dashboard. And, you can put text in the caption of the Audio post.

Marc LaFountain replied on July 29, 2009 18:31 to the problem "why wont my custom html become disabled" in Tumblr:
Hi, Lauren. Are you clicking Save Changes after you click the Disable Custom HTML link? Have you tried restarting your browser after making the change in case the browser is showing a cached copy of the old version of your page?

Marc LaFountain replied on July 27, 2009 11:56 to the problem "My feeds are no longer updating!" in Tumblr:
We only import feed items that are two days old and newer.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/LatestAct... should be importing. I will ask our developers to look into it.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/BluesGrPh... seems to contain links to photos rather than embedded photos. So, if you are importing that feed as Photos, there are no embedded photos in the feed to import.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/stormymonday has not been modified since July 24th so there is nothing current to import. Please also note that Tumblr does not allow the importation of feeds that are based on automated search queries.

Marc LaFountain replied on July 27, 2009 11:36 to the question "How do I change the default link colour for Disqus?" in Tumblr:
Hello! Unfortunately, we can't provide technical support for HTML customizations. Given our large number of users, we just don't have the resources. My apologies.
If you would like to learn more about HTML and CSS so you can customize your Theme, visit http://www.w3schools.com/html or http://www.w3schools.com/css.
Info on Tumblr's customizable theme templates is at http://www.tumblr.com/docs/custom_themes.

Hi, Jacqui. Could you email support@tumblr.com with your registered email address so we can look into this? Thanks!

It does not appear that you have repointed your A Record correctly. Your domain name provider can help you with that.
Have you perhaps made changes to the Custom HTML of your blog's theme? If so, perhaps those changes have created a link problem. Try Disabling Custom HTML on the Theme tab and then add your customizations back one at a time to see if that helps.

Marc LaFountain replied on July 23, 2009 20:49 to the question "Why do I need to direct my domain to IP address 72.32.231.8?" in Tumblr:
If you want your domain to directly point to Tumblr then its A record must point to Tumblr.

Hello! The A Record for make-outmusic.com is pointing to 69.25.27.173 rather than to 72.32.231.8. If you are unsure how to change it, your domain name provider can help. Thanks!

Marc LaFountain replied on July 22, 2009 18:25 to the question "I bought a .com domain name for my tumblr, but the domain is just redirecting to my tumblr URL. How do I fix this?" in Tumblr:
It looks like you have forwarded your domain to Tumblr. We recommend that you point the domain's A Record to Tumblr rather than use forwarding. Details are at:
