marcelw shared an idea in LaterLoop on August 30, 2008 14:09:
making laterloop-addon compatible with prism?I use GoogleReader 90% of the time in Prism. I'd therefore love to have the laterloop-addon being compatible with prism.
any chances you're going to do that?
marcelw asked a question in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro) on July 14, 2008 20:47:
how to restore miro-profile?Miro recently crashed quite a few times. Today as I restarted all the profile-data is gone. how can I get the channels and settings back into miro?
(Apparently miro always crashes firefox3 wehn starting, any idea why?)
using win xp sp2 and the newest version of miro
marcelw replied on June 24, 2008 18:26 to the problem "Feedly-Folders auto-selected on Google Reader" in Feedly:
"feedly does not know when you are using Google Reader and does not change at all the Google Reader client code."
well, that is weird then. the feeds are in folders and some of them are in those z.feedly.whatever-folders. whenever I read a feed in my folders it at one point jumps to the same feed in the z.feedly-folder.
I use the tag-feature of greader quite intensively so I have a lot of feeds in 2 or more folders but I never saw that behavior before and it only happens with the z.feedly-folders.
so it must be at your end, I suspect.
let me know if you find out what's causing this and if you can fix it. can wait a little while because I like the idea behind feedly but eventually I'd prefer ditching feedly than having to live with this behavior in greader itself.
marcelw reported a problem in Feedly on June 24, 2008 11:54:
Feedly-Folders auto-selected on Google ReaderWhenever I select a single feed in GReader to read it jumps after a few minutes to the feedly-folder if the feed happens to be tagged and in a feedly-folder as well.
this is highly annoying and makes my usage of GReader difficult. I don't want to have to jump and scroll between the folders.
Can you fix that or is there an option to disable that? I guess this because of the tracking of the readinghabits or something like that?
