Concatenated tweets

When the text of a tweet is long more than 140 characters a break line in the text-area can split the tweet in N tweets posted in reverse order with a message counter near the characters counter. A very useful feature for the DM.

Add some simple statistics and info

Add some basic stats about traffic generated by a link like number of clicks, referrers and locations and info like content type with existing ones as saved times, number of notes etc.
With these data can be builded a more reliable total rating so that users can understand better the nature of the traffic generated by the links in their blogs/social networks.

Apple Address Book integration

Develop a relation between the Address Book contacts info/Twitter friends info and the Address Book contacts URL field (with a "Twitter" custom label or a contained value that match "http://twitter")/Twitter account URL, synchronizing the Twitter friends and Address Book contacts.

1. If a Twitter friend match an existing Address Book contact by Name and Surname or Nickname(Twitter username) and/or Company name without a URL field that refers to a Twitter account:
Tweetie can ask (need human verification) to update the contact with this new informations and fill, if missing, also the contact picture.

2. If a Twitter friend don't match any Address Book contact by Name and Surname or Nickname(Twitter username) and/or Company name:
Tweetie can ask (need human verification) to create a new contact in the Address Book with the Twitter account URL field.

3. If an Address Book contact match a Twitter account URL that don't match any Twitter friend:
Tweetie can ask (need human confirmation) to follow this Twitter account.

If contacts/friends are mapped the (future) friends auto-completion can be made by real Name/Surname/Company name.

A positive side effect is that for now Twitter users can organize their friends with the Address Book groups.

Links Content Type detection

Implement a Content Type detection for links (bit.ly shows this information with his APIs) with related actions, i.e. for image/* mime can be fired an action as for the TwitPic links. Or develop a better integration with OS X with some security rules/options: open an image with preview, an audio file with iTunes(in a defined playlist), a movie with QuickTime, a torrent with Transmission etc.
