A comment on the problem "Facebook page Wall not displaying links from ny feeds" in twitterfeed:
The feed you're using to post to twitter is different (http://opencme.org/quizzes/twitter/ca...), and contains the links as text inside the title element of the items. The http://opencme.org/quizzes/facebook/a... feed doesn't have this.
Looking at it, because the links are already short, I think you can actually just enable the "post links" in the facebook feed, and the links should go through unshortened (we only shorten links once they're longer than 25 chars including the "http://"). – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 16:42
A comment on the question "Twitterfeed not updating twitter nor facebook" in twitterfeed:
It looks like we're having some delays with feeds that are set to more infrequent updates, are looking at this now and will hopefully improve shortly - apologies for the issues. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 16:34

I can't see that post, did you delete it?
Looking at your account, the "last posted" value we have in our database is "2009-11-20 14:22:33", which matches the newest item currently in the feed ("On Liberty and Mammograms"), which tells us that twitterfeed hasn't posted anything to your account since that time.
If the post came from elsewhere, you can always change your twitter password - if you used OAuth to authenticate when you set up the feed (rather than giving us your twitter password), then twitterfeed will continue to work even if you change your twitter password.

It depends how you want them posted. When you create a feed, the Ping.fm option gives you a list of the methods that you've set up in ping.fm - usually you'd post to the services you've set up under the "status" or "microblog" methods, and for these we do honour the title/description settings. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 16:01

Could you let me know the feeds that you think aren't working, and we can try and take a closer look at those. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 15:59

Is this still an issue? I do note your settings are set so it only posts 1 update, so if there ware more than 1 update within the same hour, your settings would mean that twitterfeed only posts the newest one. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 15:53

Seems some of the less frequent posting feeds still have some delays, we're looking into it - apologies for the issue. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 15:50

A comment on the problem "Bit.ly links are posting to Twitter as "u.mavrev.com"" in twitterfeed:
It's usually because there is a temporary problem with your preferred URL shortener, so we need to use a different one in order to be able to post a link at all. This is usually just a temporary thing, unless the problems at the URL shortener persist. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 15:21
A comment on the problem "Stop sending the feed to twitter" in twitterfeed:
Can you send us a message on twitter to @twfeed, from the account that you are posting to and want the feeds removed from (as this confirms to us that you own that account). – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 15:19
A comment on the question "cancel my account NOW" in twitterfeed:
You should be able to "Sign In with OpenID" -> click the "OpenID" image/button -> enter "activelife4u.myvidoop.com".
If you continue to have problems and want us to delete the feeds manually, send us a message on twitter to @twfeed, from the @activelife4u account (to confirm that you own the account). – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 15:17

Mario Menti replied on November 20, 2009 15:09 to the question "Only first posting of feed being tweeted" in twitterfeed:
Check a couple of things:
- do any of the items have identical publish dates (down to the last second). In this case twitterfeed only considers one of the new, if you use the default "post new items based on pubDate" option
- in advanced settings (when you edit a feed in twitterfeed), what are the settings for how many updates to post? The default is 1, to avoid flooding accounts, but you can change this to up to 5.

I can't seem to find an entry in the database posting to "elogiamedia" - if you're sure it's still in there, would you know the feed URL you are posting, I may be able to find it that way. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 14:48

A comment on the question "Twitter pages stealing feed" in twitterfeed:
You need to report this user to twitter. Even if they did use twitterfeed, it's up to twitter to close accounts that go against their ToS, we can't do that. In your case, if you look at http://twitter.com/Jerica_bt, these posts don't even come from twitterfeed (our posts always say "from twitterfeed", not "from API"), so this user is using some other way to post updates. – Mario Menti, on November 20, 2009 14:41
