Mario Menti replied on December 21, 2009 18:35 to the problem "XML updates not posting to Twitter for Facebook pages" in twitterfeed:
Looking at the feeds, the problem is that the links on every item is the same (http://www.blainebiz.com/), and twitterfeed by default checks links against previously posted links, in an attempt to avoid posting old content.
You could either make the links unique (if that's possible - usually they would point to the actual item instead of just the overall website), or else under "advanced settings" untick the "post link" option. If you always want to include a static short link anyway, you could enter that under the "post suffix" option (again under advanced settings).

If you let me know the facebook account you use I'll take a look. Not sure if this should really cause a problem, but if you have the same issue as above it will be worth trying. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 18:19

I'm not really sure if this helps, but have removed the older copy og the facebook tokens. If that doesn't help, perhaps removing both and re-authenticating from scratch may work, but let me know.. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 18:18
A comment on the problem "RSS to Facebook is not working completely" in twitterfeed:
Ah - I think I know the reason for this. When we post to facebook, we look at one of the advanced settings of the feed to determine if we should post it a full item (your "before") or as a status update (your "after").
Under "advanced settings", if you select "post title only" then we post the content as a status update, and if you select "post title & description" then we post the longer format.
As part of the recent changes we merged feeds which were the same into one, because most people wanted this, and it means that you don't need to specify all the settings twice. However, it may have meant that if you have the same feed posting to twitter and to Facebook, and you had different "title/description" settings for each service, one of them would have been overwritten.
If this is the case, and you want different settings for twitter and facebook, then you could disable the facebook service on the current feed, and set up a new feed, with the same url, but posting to facebook only, where you can change the setting without it affecting the posting to twitter.
Hope this makes sense.. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 18:14
A comment on the problem "Bit.ly links are not attacched to my authenticated user" in twitterfeed:
Well, your API info we have in our db is definitely correct, just created this manually: http://bit.ly/info/7xr8GO
So for some reason there was an error (or more than one) when we tried to shorten these links... if you let me know the next time you update the feed, and the shortened link doesn't appear in your bit.ly account, I can see if the error logs tell us any more.
Sorry for these problems, but from what I can tell this should work (and does work elsewhere - most of our posts are shortened using bit.ly). – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 18:07
A comment on the problem "Can't find my feeds in Twiiterfeed, my dashboard is empty !!!" in twitterfeed:
Sorry, just to confirm, when you sign in with OpenID, you click the "OpenID" image/button, and enter "www.openidfrance.fr/[username]"? If so, and you still don't see the feeds when you sign in, then for some reason the identity URL returned from the OpenID provider must have changed. If that's the case, you could create a different twitterfeed account and let me know the details, so I can move any existing feed sto that one. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 17:57
A comment on the question "Feed not updating" in twitterfeed:
Really? That's strange, because I thought feedburner feeds only claim to be pubsubhubbub-enabled when pingshot is enabled. You could try it, and while we will continue polling for now, because we have already subscribed for notifications from your feed, we can check if we receive them once you make a new post. If we do, we could then switch of polling again and just listen to notifications. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 17:52

This may mean you're logging in with a different account from the one that was used to set up the feeds - have you tried http://bit.ly/openidreminder in case the original feeds were set up using an OpenID you've forgotten about?
If that doesn't help, let me know the twitter account you're posting to and I'll try and take a look.
A comment on the problem "Bit.ly links are not attacched to my authenticated user" in twitterfeed:
Well, you could do that of course :)
If not, I have added some more logging now, so the next time we shorten something I should at least see in the logs if the bit.ly call failed. I could also try some manual things with the API info in your account, but this could mean that some useless test links appear in your bit.ly account, so wanted to check with you first before I do this. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 15:00
Mario Menti replied on December 21, 2009 13:49 to the problem "Stolen content via @HaikuClub" in twitterfeed:
To clarify - the content you see at http://haiku.clubandhra.com is not coming from twitterfeed (we don't provide functionality like this), but this user posts the RSS feed from that blog to the @HaikuClub twitter account. We're working with twitter on spam and other issues, so I will pass this on to twitter in the hope that this may help to get the account disabled.

A comment on the question "Feeds not loading into Twitter" in twitterfeed:
tumblr have started supporting pubsubhubbub notifications, but for some reason we haven't received any notifications from your feed. I just tried to resubscribe it now, in the hope that perhaps there was a problem with the subscription originally. If the problem persists, and now posts being added over the coming day are still not appearing, let me know and I'll try and find out what the reason may be. – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 13:36
A comment on the question "Feeds not loading into Twitter" in twitterfeed:
I can see the 5 feeds, but it looks like none of the feeds have got a service attached to it (Step 2 when you edit/create a feed). Perhaps that info wasn't saved for some reason? – Mario Menti, on December 21, 2009 13:32
