The feedback button is actually a feature from Get Satisfaction, not Current. It renders properly when browsing from a laptop or a desktop, but can get in the way when viewing on an iPhone or mobile device.

thanks for the feedback! we would love to have an iPhone app, but we are working to find the right approach for Current on the iPhone. there are a lot of things to consider, but we are continuing to work on the right approach.

for now, have you tried out our iPhone enhanced version of Current.com? http://m.current.com/

Hey Travis,

Thanks for the feedback on our URL shortening capability. Agreed, 26 character URLs are certainly not the shortest URLs on the market, however our intent here was to build something that improved the experience of browsing, commenting, and sharing content from Current.com. Having a shortened URL was a bonus.

I've written a post about our intent to improve the experience by combining shorter URLs with our Current Bar. You're right, we could grab a shorter domain, but our intent is not to go after the already crowded URL shortening market aimed at Twitter users. Rather, we'd like to use shortening to improve peoples' experiences on Current.com. Here's a link to the post:

a number of current community members have reported that shares are never reaching their intended recipients. it looks as if shares are just not being sent out due to some unknown bug in the system. our team is looking into the matter, and trying to get to the bottom of things, so we hope to have this resolved soon.
