Looks like it's about time to roll in the cheeses! Some sausages may also help.

If you look at the humungous page about Twitter's recent "followers/following" problem (some paging on the page might help... *)) about 2/3 down on the page GS seems to be running out of cup cake images and everyone who doesn't have their own avatar is getting the same cupcake image assigned.

So, get some extra savory avatar pictures already! All the sweetness doesn't match (or compensate) the anger anyway, so go for variety!

Partly restored (FOR NOW *), but it seems some of the problem is still there: I can actually get to page 8, but halfway there and following pages is only tweets from the last person I followed.

That problem has seemingly (only latest followee) always existed, so it doesn't look like this is really solved.

*) FOR NOW, because it always works for a while after following a new person anyway - will have to watch it to see if it lasts.
Theory: it will stop working as soon as all the only-latest followee's tweets have scrolled off page 10.

The non-functional Older button problem has just been compounded by whole chunks of "Recent" timeline going missing. Tweets with links to screenshots:

Brilliant - Twitter has a new layout and now the Older button leads to a page without any tweets. At least a disabled button tells me there's problem without a roundtrip to the server...

After logging out and logging in again, I could get to page 3; now Older button is gone again. So, pagination DOESN'T keep working for me. Let's see what deleting cookies does (again). What it does is give me an error page on logging out, and it redirects me to httpS://twitter.com after logging in. Whatever for? The saddest thing is that here we have a bunch of intelligent people doing tests to pin down what/where the problem is - while Twitter is notably absent. Twitter could be leveraging this community effort, working with us and our tests - instead they are ignoring us and fumbling about in the dark. Really sad that Twitter is ignoring the REAL POWER of social networking to have users helping fix their own problems. WAKE UP please, Twitter! One token reply 12 days ago and not a peep since then doesn't count as "satisfaction" does it? We're just abandoned, and Twitter obviously doesn't care - after all who cares about users when you just made your first acquisition of another company?

Back from a weekend away - no Older button = no progress and more frustration. It feels as if I'm going blind.

Is Twitter really here? Could one of those 16 "listening" employees please start listening and give us a progress report? I even sent a tweet to @biz and got no reply, zilch, nada, nothing.

It would be REALLY GREAT if someone from Twitter (one of those 16 employees that "are listening and participating" here) would give us some update on the progress.

It looks like Twitter has completely forgotten us, or just plain doesn't care. Is that the image you want to project, Twitter?

This is TOTALLY wacky - after following someone new, "Older" appears but next pages are NOTHING but content from that person, nothing else. All of 9 pages (after "home" with nothing but one person's tweets - going back to 18 June. Is this a new bug now, or what?
