I have asked associates before, and in fact asked a manager before. They have all stated that the temperature in the store is dictated by Bentonville (their "home office"). Seems like the ultimate example of micromanagement.

I doubt it. They may be screening, incase someone uses the terms "Walmart" and "Union" in the same sentance...

So are they then going to be stopping return policies? People purchase items, and then return them a month later "because (they) didn't like it". Seems to me like the same issue. – Mark, on May 28, 2009 17:11
