AfterParty is the new online community that begins when a House Party ends. A living room in the clouds where friends discuss, blog, upload photos and videos, and continue to get great info from brands they love like South Beach LivingTM Foods.

Is it different from a House Party? Absolutely — but in a good way — since you get the opportunity to keep the exclusive insider experience you crave going on. Now for the big question. Will there be a party pack coming? Sorry, but no. AfterParty isn’t a House Party but that doesn’t make AfterParty any less terrific.

AfterParty can be a great exchange of fun and facts, but a lot of it is up to you. As an AfterParty Leader, you are in the unique position to keep the dialog ongoing with old friends and add new AfterParty friends at any time. Ask as many as you’d like. There’s always room for more friends in AfterParty!

We will provide plenty of perks to keep everyone entertained — weekly announcements from South Beach LivingTM, an AfterParty Leaders Contest, interesting tips and of course, lively discussion along the way.

In case you missed some messaging before, I will post it here again...

House Party is aware of some of the questions that our members have and we will be addressing those questions with some messaging very soon. Before we do so, we just want to get a sense of what the confusion is about so we can make sure we answer all your questions.

The AfterPartyTM is different from a House Party in the fact that there is not a party package and there is not a national party date. Rather, the AfterPartyTM is an extended continuous online consumer experience to keep you involved with the products you love. This party experience will include great insider info, tips, recipes, special offers and other prizes. When you are inviting your guests, you are not inviting them to one specific event, but rather to be a part of the experience, the AfterPartyTM.

Thank you to everyone who has thrown out some great ideas and asked some great questions...

That being said, I see that some people still have some general questions. Too that end, it appears that everyone would benefit from a more detailed description of what the AfterParty is all about, what hosts can do and how guests can get involved.

We want to work with our members to make the AfterParty as exciting as possible. But it appears before we move to that step, we should first clear up the questions. House Party will work on getting clearer messaging out to everyone involved in this exciting experience.

What a great idea! And I could add, “Great minds think alike”... because in fact we typically do encourage our partners to consider offering applicants some token of appreciation for their time and interest in applying, just as you suggest. It doesn’t always happen, but a number of House Parties have included coupons and other special thanks to applicants who weren’t selected as hosts. We agree with you: If people care enough about our events to take the time to apply, and are willing to open up their homes and invite their friends to help celebrate a favorite product, then we’d love to see those people get some additional expression of appreciation. Thanks for reminding us how important this is, and keep the great ideas coming!
