Mark Jaquith marked one of Fraser Speirs' replies in Connected Flow as useful. Fraser Speirs replied to the problem "[Aperture] Does not properly omit tags that are parent tags".

This has been fixed! Thanks so much!
FlickrExport 3.0.0b26
[Aperture] Fixed a bug that was causing omitted keywords to appear in photo tags if "Omit Child Keywords" was off.
A comment on the problem "'Ignore me' keywords still being set as tags on Flickr" in Connected Flow:
I don't think that's it. The keywords show up in the FlickrExport dialog, not just in Flickr. See my report for more detailed information (linked in Michael's comment above yours). – Mark Jaquith, on July 11, 2008 06:05-

Mark Jaquith reported a problem in Connected Flow on July 08, 2008 20:20:
[Aperture] Does not properly omit tags that are parent tagsOS X 10.5.4
Aperture 2.1 (3C27)
FlickrExport 3.0.0b25 for Aperture
I have the following keyword structure:
Photo specs/Image type/Outdoor
Photo specs/Image type/Indoor
I tag all images as either "Outdoor" or "Indoor"
I have FlickrExport set to "Fill Flickr tags from: Full Aperture Keyword Hierarchy" because I have other people/animal/thing trees that I want to be fully populated. But I do not want "Photo specs" or "Image type" to be in the Flickr tags, because these are not informative, they're just organizational.
I put "Photo specs" and "Image type" in the Tags > Aperture Keyword Hiding list, and left the "Omit child keywords of keywords in this list" box UNCHECKED because I didn't want it to kill the "Outdoor" or "Indoor" keywords.
That doesn't seem to work. I get "Photo specs" and "Image type" in my Flickr tag list.
If I check the "Omit child keywords of keywords in this list" box, "Photo specs" and "Image type" are gone, but so are "Outdoor" and "Indoor" (as expected).
I think I see what is happening is that you're just iterating through the keywords provided (that is, before building their trees according to the "Full Aperture Keyword Hierarchy" preference). So "Photo specs" and "Image type" aren't in the list yet. In the case that the "Omit child keywords of keywords in this list" box is CHECKED, you must be building the tree to see if a parent keyword has been blocked.
Better: if the "Full Aperture Keyword Hierarchy" preference is enabled, you must build the parent keyword tree before checking for omitted keywords.

I started getting rate limit hits about a week ago. I disabled everything that was using API hits except for Twhirl, and then changed my password to lock out anything I forgot about. No good. I get "limit exceeded" the instant I start up Twhirl, and Twhirl is the only app that knows the new password.-

Ability to add more than one secondary addressI would like the ability to add more than one secondary address, so I can talk to Sandy via my personal, business, work, and SMS addresses.
I'd be willing to pay $20/year for this feature.-
