Looks like this is an issue with the glib dependencies. We are building on a newer version of glib which has g_once_init_enter_impl. This function doesn't exist on older versions of glib (which are present in the listed linux distros).

There are a few options here:

1) upgrade your glib on CentOS (even though they are stable)
2) we need to downgrade our linux distro's that we build on in order to start with a more likely set of acceptable dependencies across all linux distros.
3) fix our build system to account for this.

I'd suggest (1) for now, and let us know if you run into any other problems.

I believe the bookmark icons will update when you visit them on a per-bookmark basis.

Under the hood the ico is cached just like any other asset (img, etc) and the rules for updating the cache vary.. I think using the clear private data, and just selecting cache will have a similar effect.

You just need to force refresh the page. The favicon will then be re-fetched.

Are you saying too many youtube pages in the history, or just too many pages visited? Can you tell us how many pages you think you're running into the problem?

I found this discrepancy between Linux and MacOS, I believe it's most likely a font issue.

We are aware of the problem and are working on rolling out a fix for it very soon. Flickr changed some bits of their authentication which ended up breaking us. Stay tuned, it should be fixed shortly!

Alternatively, if you're not able to see the checkbox you can do the following hack:

type into your browser, "about:config". Click, "yes, I promise" if it shows up.

Now, right click in the page, select "new", then select "boolean". type in "flock.oobe.dontshow" and click ok, then select "true".

The next restart the flash dialog will not show up. Hope that helps.

One note before trying this fix, it will delete all your remembered accounts...

It appears your profile got corrupted, try the following:

Go to your profile folder and rename the flock-data.sqlite file, do this while flock is NOT running. If you're running windows XP, it's in c:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Flock.

So, just rename flock-data.sqlite to flock-data-backup.sqlite.

If you're not running XP, you can check the following FAQ to find the location of the profile for all other OS's: http://flock.com/faq/show/64#q_387

Once you do that, start up the browser and you should get your myworld stuff again. Hope that helps!

That's odd. I am not having problems with my myspace account, we'll try to do a little more investigation on this one with some of our other accounts. I've even tried on a brand new install. It might be only certain accounts having issues? What operating system are you running?

I think he wants the "auto-mark as read" off, but he wants to control when visible articles are marked. If this is the case, its a feature request and we could add at some point in the future.
