We don't support that today but it is on our to-do list. As for other flash widgets, that's a moderately slippery slope that we hope to climb in the next month or so. We do have an internal widget API that we will be publishing, but that's different from supporting external widgets automatically.

Note that we are considering providing the mxml source for a site to developers so that you could enter whatever you want into the mxml and recompile with the flex compiler.

Yes, in a few ways.

First, forms talk to a database on the server today. We're adding widgets to talk to that forms data.

Next, we will be adding more widgets to do things like communicate with databases, although that will be on a longer term basis.

What application did you have in mind?

Hi, if you're talking about embedding html commands into text -- at the moment we don't support that, although we plan to add it very soon. For now text is plain.
