I'm sad to say this hasn't been fixed yet. We can reproduce the problem with images and it is caused by webkit browsers behaving oddly when image envelope element has styling, but we haven't been able to find solution for it yet.
Problem with scrolling should be fixed with our new release, which you can expect soon (hopefully will also find solution for image problem before that).

Hi Mary,
I am sorry for my late reply and I hope you have found solution in the meantime. In case you didn't, could you please give me an URL to offending page so I can take a look at what is happening? – Marko Samastur, on December 03, 2009 11:09

Marko Samastur replied on November 06, 2009 11:04 to the problem "Zemanta aligning doesn't work." in Zemanta:
I agree with you, Daniel, that this shouldn't be necessary. Our problem is that we had to pick between two bad options.
We can't tell which theme you are using and if it supports aligning with CSS classes. So we had to choose between forcing our alignment and risk that our CSS clashes with those from themes or follow WP's way of doing things and fail on themes that don't comply.
We decided that later approach is better, because this CSS problem is for users easier to fix and with time more themes will support this. We hope.

Marko Samastur replied on November 04, 2009 10:35 to the question "Zemanta suddenly disappeared" in Zemanta:
Hi Brian and Jennifer,
Correct me if I am wrong, but you have a self-hosted WordPress on which Zemanta is now missing. Did you use a WordPress plugin or our browser extension?
If you were using plugin, then could you please check on Plugins page (accessible from navigation menu on the left) if our plugin is listed among active plugins? In case it isn't, check inactive ones too and turn it on if you find it there.
A comment on the question "Does Zemanta work for Squarespace if I'm using a Mac?" in Zemanta:
Scribefire should work everywhere Firefox does, so you can use it on Windows, Linux or Mac. On Windows you can also use Microsoft's LiveWriter together with our LiveWriter plugin.
Sorry, but there is still no in-browser support for Squarespace at this time. – Marko Samastur, on November 04, 2009 09:52
Marko Samastur replied on September 22, 2009 09:19 to the question "multiple images not working" in Zemanta:
Scribefire uses our recommendation engine, but has its own user interface that was done by guys at Scribefire. I may be wrong, but I think their interface doesn't support inserting multiple images. I don't know if they support a nofollow option on articles, but in either case you will get a more informed answer from them.
I wish I could be of more help.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Would you be so kind to let me know on which platform this happens and when exactly does it fail? Does it misalign in editor or only after post is published?
If later and you are using a WordPress 2.6 or newer, then problem might be caused by your theme not supporting WordPress' way of aligning, which is by using alignleft and alignright classes together with corresponding CSS changes.
This problem can usually be resolved by adding following lines to theme's stylesheet:
.alignleft {float:left;}
.alignright {float:right;}
