Also...
No I'm not using the magic URL. I'd like each use to have their own account so that I have some granular control over access rights. I though that was the way the PBWiki were encouraging people to do it now?
I can't send out my own invite email, as the system generated invite contains a url with a unique id and key. I hear from one of my users that if they create their own account they see the invite on screen, so at least I have a work around for now. However, that doesn't make this problem any less urgent.

Vu,
I'm not an expert on spam filtering but I notice that the emails use my email address as the from address. I wonder if there are some other headers that point to PBWiki.com, so when a spam filter sees a message from me, but sent from a different domain, certain spam filters mark the message as spam. This is only a theory, like I said, I'm not an expert in these matters. Do you have someone at PBWiki who knows about this sort of stuff?

The users of our Wiki are mostly outside of our company and will have very different email addresses. So your suggestion will not work.
The VPN is between my PC and our Proxy. The invite emails go from your server to the recipients email server, not via my VPN. I can access any web site on the internet via the VPN which is why I am able to invite people in the first place. I have just conducted a test both via the vpn and without the vpn and in both cases I received the invite. This is an intermittent problem somewhere between you sending the email and the recipient receiving the email. If you could cc me on the emails that go out at least I could prove whether or not the emails were actually sent.

Martin reported a problem in PBwiki on March 13, 2008 16:25:
Add User invitation emails going missingI have been inviting users to join my Wiki using the Add Users by email page. Some users have complained that they have never received the invitation email. Is this a known problem ? I have no way of knowing exactly which users have received the email and clicked on the link and which have not. Can I be cc'ed on the invitation emails so that I know they have been sent and so that I can resend if necessary. Also I could do with a resend invite facility within the wiki.
This is an urgent problem as it is effecting more users than I would have expected.

Did you know that when I try to submit a help ticket when I'm connected to our corporate VPN I get an error when I press the submit button? For some reason it tries to redirect to a server within our Intranet that does not exist. When I disconnect from the VPN then resubmit the ticket, I briefly see a salesforce.com url then I am directed to this page. It's not good.

Martin replied on March 04, 2008 12:06 to the question "User Profile pages in the Wiki itself?" in PBwiki:
We're trying build a community around our wiki so I'd really like to see all links that are for user's names to point to a standard system account profile page so that they can maintain and share their details. Currently these links appear to always include a mailto: link to their email address.
I really don't want to clutter up the wiki with an extra 100 pages just for wikified profile pages. Also this would inevitably cause wiki profile pages and users accounts to become out of sync.
