More things I just thought of:
- If I drag&drop the contents of a folder from Finder into PhotoSync, the pictures get uploaded in reverse order, and thus appear in reverse order in the Flickr photostream. Would be much better if they were uploaded in ascending alphabetic order by filename, because then they would appear in the photostream with the most recent first, as it's supposed to be.
- If an error occurs during uploading, please don't cancel the whole upload; please just continue with the rest, retrying failed items a few times (with a few minutes pause?). I'd like to be able to start a big upload before going to bed, and wake up next morning with everything uploaded (even if the internet connection goes down for a few minutes, or one of the files is corrupt, or Flickr experiences a temporary internal error, etc...). It's really annoying if the upload only got through the first 100 files and then stopped, with 500 more remaining.

I currently use PictureSync only for uploading to Flickr, and quite like it (Flickr's own Uploadr application is really rubbish).
I agree with comments made by others regarding stability; I think PictureSync doesn't need a huge amount of features, but the things it does it has got to do really well. I consider it to be a tool, not an application.
For example, if I select a bunch of files in finder, drag them into PictureSync, and then click on the PictureSync window, I get an AppleScript error 'Can’t get characters 1 thru 4 of "a". (-1728)'. (PictureSync 1.8r16, Mac OS 10.5.5)
I think there were also other mysterious AppleScript errors, but I can't remember how to reproduce them.
Also, if one file in 200 failed to upload, why not retry it automatically? And if it fails repeatedly, I need to know the name of that file.
A small feature which would save me a lot of time: if I could give PictureSync a directory, and it automatically uploads all photos within it, creating a set for each subdirectory (using the directory name as the set title).
Thanks for PictureSync, keep up the good work.
