A comment on the problem "More than 200 people with artists' names problems" in Spotify:
It doesn't help that much actually, because this wont be resolved within 3 months or even one year or AT ALL just because they are aware of it. They need to dedicate time to it or just reject the problem. Being aware is not helpful at all. – mathias, on November 30, 2009 12:31

Take a look at http://getsatisfaction.com/spotify/to... instead and see the reason why it is like this.

Evern when I press the mute switch on my keyboard they pause the commercial... Actually I don't understand why Spotify forces their listeners to listen to the commercials, it should be allowed to mute. Isn't it up to me if I want to listen to the same ads over and over and over and over... If I heard it 50 times already I'm not going to buy Basshunter's album on the 51th attempt! Right?
mathias marked one of Alexander Graf's replies in Armory Light as useful. Alexander Graf replied to the problem "Heirloom Calc".
mathias shared an idea in Armory Light on October 20, 2009 14:01:
Character Profile w- lvl slider and Heirloom scalingI feel very limited by only being able to view individual items, and loading time between each is quite long. My rogue has 7 heirlooms at the moment, and I don't want to have 7 different tabs open and trying to reconcile the total stats gained by my heirlooms!
My idea: Add character profiles to Armory Light, and let me set up my Rogue there with the heirloom he uses, and then scale my character level => all heirlooms scale with character level simultaneosuly and the total stats are presented at the bottom.
This is useful for seeing current +hit/+haste/+crit etc. rating and figuring out which talents to pick.

Thanks for clearing this up Andres. But it doesn't make 100% sense to me: How can two labels independent of each other submit content that get mixed up? Or do you mean that At the Gates record label submitted record content with a completely different artist (Michel Montecrosse) but tagged as At The Gates? That is the only explanation I can think of where the label is to be blamed.
Or did Montecrosse's label submit content tagged as At the Gates? Seems equally bizarre.
In the end, At the Gates are not getting the plays they could be getting, and Montecrosse's label are not getting any plays for this content. And fans like me have to find other artists to enjoy :)

Nice digging JB. I think the short answer is as to HOW is because the administrators behind Spotify doesn't care. I have seen their own official comments on other issues regarding incorrectly named/attributed artists, and it goes along the lines "We focus on adding new songs instead of fixing old, incorrect songs."
Bottom line - These Spotify Administrators have their priorities backwards. I mean, basically this means that artist "A" (in this case At the Gates) are getting paid by spotify for the product provided by artist "B" (in this case MIchel Montecrossa). How happy can artist "B" and his Record Label be about that?
Not very happy. But again, Spotify doesnt care apparently until a lawsuit is pending. Somehow I doubt "The Orchard" record label can afford it, but do they even know about this issue?
Maybe if we "tell on Spotify" to The Orchard this issue will be corrected.-
