Do apps become 'recommended' by getting these sorts of 3rd party endorsements? I had always thought the ones with the green 'recommended' badges were staff-selected. Those were the ones I was specifically asking about.

Is there a comprehensive list of all recommended add-ons in all categories? The one on the add-on homepage only has a handful, and I keep finding recommended add-ons that aren't on the list when I browse around.
