A comment on the problem "my wii controller does not work anymore. whenever i try to turn it on it just flashes for about 5 times and turns off. any answers?" in Nintendo:
Yeah, I realized that the Wiimote sucks a lot of battery juice even when it is not being used. I guess to keep the connection with the Wii. When the battery dies it resets it self... – Alex, on October 18, 2008 17:30

anyone else having this problem - don't spend the $40 on a new controller until you try this first.
I had this problem and after checking batteries I re-sync'ed the controller with the console and it worked fine.
to resync - press the red button under the front cover where the SD card goes and press the red button next to the batteries and that should work.-

by getting more people to agree with this http://getsatisfaction.com/seesmic/to...
then Ping.fm support will get up higher in the wish list of Twhirl meaning we will have True cross posting sooner

Hey Ben, no official place for submission since it's currently more of a hack than a feature. But, feel free to link it up here. Maybe once we have a couple 'reported' we could write up a post and share some of what the community has created. – Thomas Knoll, on October 06, 2008 12:32

"Curvy" with CSS and Javascript has come a long way. (see w/JQuery) Having said that, I have ignored Flash. Studiously. So I dunno. But yaa.
p.s. when I saw that colorschemes were XML I jumped right in. (Anybody recall XUL?) but I didn't find any twhirl.org pages for submission. I think Mozilla pret'near established the paradigm with their Skins functionality.

How long have I been on the computer today timerPersonally, i love slife windows: but i feel like something is missing.
Slife is like an intricate timer, correct? I love that.
But: i wish there was a way to see how long you were on the computer today, how long your computer has been on, etc. It would be really nice to see a quick timer that has the number of hours:minutes you've been on the computer today, and not just how long you have been in each application/ Document.
There may be a way to already to do this, but it would be great if it was just in the sidebar, easy to glance at.
if there is a way to this already: could someone tell me how?
