Admin user: yes for both accounts.

API: Yes for the 30+ project account, but No for the 1 project account.

I enabled it (can't believe I forgot about that) and it seems to be working! Nice.

Thanks for the quick reply. One thing you might want to mention is that you can't import from an account with more Basecamp projects than are in your GoPlan account. Or, even better, let me choose which projects I want to import (I think Harvest allows you do choose projects on import).

How do I import data from Basecamp?

I have a free account at the moment (testing out GoPlan), but have had no luck importing my Basecamp data.

I use OpenID for Basecamp, but if you need it, they give you a "special username/password" to use with third party apps (which I've done successfully in the past). And just to be sure, I changed one of my accounts to use a regular username and password, but that didn't work either.

I've tried importing data from Basecamp accounts with 30+ projects, and then tried importing from a different account with just a single project. No luck with either.

I've also tried the Basecamp URL with and without the http:// or https:// - no dice either way.

Here's the error message:

Any thoughts on why this would be an issue?

Just wanted to put in another request for time tracking. I'd love to have this option available. I really like Outpost as it is, but time tracking could be great (would it be stopwatch style, or manual entry?).

Any thoughts on when this might be added to the app?

Basecamp projects no longer syncing/updating

I just was notified of a version update (to 2.6), so I downloaded it and now none of my Basecamp projects are syncing/updating.

I've tried resetting up my Basecamp account within the Timepost preferences, but have had no luck. And I get no notices or warnings saying that anything is wrong (address, password, etc.).

Any help would be appreciated.

I was having a syncing problem as well. But, I simply quit the application and started it up again and it synced. So it appears to be storing your login credentials, but fails to see them as matching your Basecamp account upon first entering them.

I had the API enabled and was using a regular username + password (not OpenID as I've had trouble with other 3rd party apps using that).
