Unfortunately, the SFTP versions in current use don't support sudo or su, but there is a relatively painless solution from our end. If you need to specifically use sudo, you'll need to enable root access in your sshd_config on the server. Next, you can just create another drive in the manager connected to the same server but with your substitute username or root as login. It's not exactly the same as using sudo, but end result is.

The SFTP protocol version in use on most clients and servers doesn't support any operations that would allow us to determine free space. If the server allows shell access, we can run some commands over ssh to get that information, but in this case, the server must have shell access disabled. If that's not the case, I'd be interested to find out more about it. Anyway, when we can't get shell access to run our commands, we just return default values.

At this time, there isn't really anything. Mac OS X's preferred solution, writing resource forks to separate files prefixed with "._", isn't really tenable in a UFS environment, especially since it does this for nearly every file. A solution we have on the table is writing all the resource fork data to a log file stored on your local machine, if you select the option. Would this work for you?

What version of macfuse do you have installed? If you've installed a version later than 1.3.1, that will explain your problems. We don't support later versions at this time. If you've upgraded, try downgrading to 1.3.1.
If it's not that, we've been having problems across the board with 10.5.3. Unfortunately for you, the problem is with the OS and it's relationship to MacFuse, not ExpanDrive specifically. The issues we've seen so far are all reproducible with SSHFS, so I don't think you'll have luck there.

Hmmm, we saw this bug a few weeks ago, but we released an update that we thought fixed it. I assume you're running the latest version, but did you also happen to install the newest version (1.5.1) of MacFuse recently? We haven't fully tested that release yet, so we don't recommend upgrading. If you're sure, type "kextstat" at the command line and look for "com.google.filesystems.fusefs (1.x.x.)". The 1.x.x is the version number.
