It would be really awesome if we could restrict taxes from being calculated on a per-cart basis.

Right now if you sell to both wholesale and retail customers you basically have no choice other than to not collect tax from either and call it included in your prices.

It would be ideal if we could submit tax status in a similar way to cart attributes and notes.

We're working on a site right now where we are using an alternate block of liquid on a product page for galleries.

This way we get to use shopify's ability to auto create thumbs.

It's actually really easy this way. The only potential downside is the URL isn't ideal. We could get around this by duplicating products and pages, but it seems like more trouble than it's worth. /products/some-guys-gallery isn't too bad. /pages/some-guys-gallery would be better, but only a bit.

linklist labels

The built-in linklists in the navigation tab have these labels: "Default Shopify menu. This menu can not be deleted."


It would actually be really useful for designers to be able to add labels just like this to the linklists we create on clients behalf. We use these things for all sorts of stuff, and it would be great to be able to leave them a description of what they are for (especially for nested navigation themes, etc).

Actually the entire smart collection interface could use an update.

I'd love to see it work using more logic in the rules.

Product type = foo
OR Product type = bar
AND Weight >= 1 lb
AND Price < 10.00

Something like so would be awesome.

We've done it with linklists and uploaded files. Create a linklist called gallery, and add all of the uploaded pictures to the list as links. Pretty easy.

I'd actually rather have a fully scaled down version of the site to update from, like m.shizzow.com (see m.twitter.com for obvious example) rather than just a handset stylesheet
