Time and time again I've missed stuff being mobile because with a large following list the replies zoom past the (understandably) short m.twitter page.

Please please please follow up, elevate, escalate or whatever. We had a flash avatar meme go through Australia today and the no animated GIF thing did throw a spanner in the works...

Why don't animated GIFs work as my picture on Twitter?
I'm trying to set my picture with an animated GIF but I only get the first frame as my avatar. I have even resized all the frames to 48px square and the filesize is still (well) within the limit. In fact it is 6,252 bytes!
