Hi @akrde, sorry for making you feel left alone. Unfortunately we can't address every individual issue with individual people, but rest assured we're listening. We're using Get Satisfaction in an experimental capacity to see how it works in tandem with Last.fm's forums and support offering.
Again, rest assured we have a lot of cool plans for the Library, and everyone's input is listened to, appreciated and taken into account.

Hi everyone.
Yep, we've got a lot of great feedback already on the forum discussion (http://www.last.fm/group/Last.fm+Beta...).
The design team have been in there every day gathering and parsing all of this information -- and leaving "we're listening, keep it coming" comments as we go along -- so rest assured we're listening carefully, and acting upon it. This is one of the best things about being in beta, so we want to push toward a public release asap to get even more feedback.
As you say Quinn, design is a massive topic, so the design team are concentrating on information gathering right now in order to make the best-informed decisions on how to improve things for everyone.
I'd like to break this discussion down into more bitesize chunks (just as we've done here for the Library and Flash player) soon, so watch this space.
Thanks again everyone.

Hi deleteme - many thanks for this, super useful.
* We're still working on internationalization in the beta so hopefully translation issues will be smoothed out soon.
* Agreed about Library browsing requiring too much effort. We're working on this now, so keep an eye out for improvements.
* Skin and style inconsistencies are also being ironed out around the site, so you'll see improvements over the coming weeks.
* Very cool idea about comparing friends' Libraries to yours -- we've been discussing loads of ideas like this, and we can't wait to start doing all sorts of fun stuff once we get the basics sorted :)

Help us improve our new beta site - The LibraryHi,
Matt Brown here again -- I'm an interaction designer here at Last.fm.
And, again, we've just launched a new beta, so while we're tightening screws, sweeping up, polishing and generally watching how subscribers get to grips with it over the next while, I'd love to get some feedback on some of our ideas.
More specifically, the new ideas we're trying out around our new Library feature.
If you're a subscriber, you can go to http://beta.last.fm and follow the Library link on the left hand side.
What works for you, and what doesn't? Again, all thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Help us improve our new beta site - the Flash player and Listen pageHello,
My name's Matt Brown, and I'm an interaction designer here at Last.fm towers.
Again, we've just launched a new beta version of Last.fm, so while we're tightening screws, sweeping up, polishing and generally watching how subscribers get to grips with it over the next while, I'd love to get some feedback on our ideas.
More specificially, we'd love to hear what you think about the new ideas we're trying out -- around how (or indeed if) you listen to music around the site itself -- with the updated Flash player and the updated Listen page.
If you're a subscriber, you can check out the updated Flash player on an artist page: say, http://beta.last.fm/music/Radiohead
... and the updated Listen page can be found by clicking on any radio station link. For example: http://beta.last.fm/listen/globaltags...
What works for you, and what doesn't? Let us know. All thoughts and ideas are super valuable, especially at beta stage.
Thanks,
Matt
