Hi @akrde, sorry for making you feel left alone. Unfortunately we can't address every individual issue with individual people, but rest assured we're listening. We're using Get Satisfaction in an experimental capacity to see how it works in tandem with Last.fm's forums and support offering.
Again, rest assured we have a lot of cool plans for the Library, and everyone's input is listened to, appreciated and taken into account.

I've recently realised that by adding ?autostart to the end of the URL 'automatically starts' the player. Genius. However it would be better if each of the links had the query string appended to them. – Scott Mallinson, on August 01, 2008 10:24

Hi Matt, any news about that? I think it would be important now to see HOW an artist was added to our libraries! – akrde, on July 25, 2008 11:01

Please no phrases, that's not very helpful to us! Get more concrete concerning the ideas Timothy has mentioned above. Thank you! – akrde, on July 17, 2008 14:27

It would be very cool to see HOW an artist was added to our libraries!
Small icons beneath the artist images could represent the actual "status" of the artists in our library.
What icons would be needed?
Tag icon
Love icon
Playlist icon
Add icon (for manually added artists)
Scrobble icon
What could be done additionally with these icons?
1. If we want to remove an artist, we could check first in which of our profile areas this artist will be deleted too!
2. We could filter our library by these icons to just show loved artists, tagged artists, manually added artists, artists in playlists, scrobbled artists or combinations of that!
3. It would be possible to play a selective library radio which for example plays only tagged artists!

Oh, and this looks great:

Maybe you can make a deal with the developer, and incorporate this? It would really look amazing.

The settings (http://beta.last.fm/settings/account) page looks broken. Buttons and corresponding text do not form a group.

Could there be a listening count for me on very artist page and on every track page. Maybe in a box with other personal information such as: "last.fm thinks this artist fits you 85%"
I get sent to pages by my friends and then I wonder whether I've ever listened to that artist. And when coming across an artist name on the internet, I usually look him up on last.fm. I then miss the above described information. But furthermore I'd like an estimation how good he fits with my profile.
hm, actually that's not a reply but an idea, is it? Maybe I'll post it again as an idea.

Normalized tracks!
I hate it when I have to turn the volume up/down in the middle of listening because the tracks have different loudness levels. This also applies to the Last.fm client.
