grajay is correct that this is down to the software being unable to correctly match the images. Different software uses different algorithms to do the stitching, so will each have different results.

I'm afraid that we resize the source images before stitching, as using very high resolution images makes stitching incredibly slow (the time and memory required increase as a square of the resolution). This may be a preference in a later version, for those who want to print their panoramas.

The image is a JPEG. You need to make sure you save it with ".jpg" as the file extension, otherwise it might not be recognised as such.

Thanks for the report. It seems this is a particular manifestation of a problem that we're already aware of in the way hotspots are displayed. I'll get this fixed as soon as I can, but I can't give a date for it at the moment I'm afraid.

A comment on the idea "Awesome!" in CleVR:

I'm sorry. As I am the only developer, and I can't always do these things as fast as I'd want to. As for geo-tagging, it's still something I'd like to do when I get a chance. Yes, it could be used for that. To stitch properly, the photos need to be taken from the same spot, preferably with a tripod. If taken by hand, care should be taken to rotate the camera with it roughly in the same place. For more details: http://www.clevr.com/help/how-to-take...
To save the resulting image, click the "Save as JPEG" button when the stitching is complete, or "View image" on the panorama page.

The panorama image can be downloaded by clicking on "view image" on the panorama page. Unfortunately the viewer can't be downloaded as it requires access to our servers in order to work.

This is something we'd like to add, but it is quite a bit of work. We also need to make sure we don't over-complicate the interface of the stitcher. Ease of use is our number one priority there. As with all new features we're constrained by the fact that I'm the only developer!

Embedding clevr panoramas in flickr would be great, but unfortunately flickr does allow it. We would like to allow the import and export of images though, and this is a planned feature.

Hi,
This is the standard warning for installing an Adobe AIR app - there is no way for us to request any lower level of access. However, the access it is requesting is no greater than any other program that you might download and install. It needs this so that it can read and write to your disk (to open and save photos) and connect to the network (so that it can login and upload them). As with all software, you should only install it if you trust its source. The warning window there confirms that the software is digitally signed by CleVR Ltd, and that the identity of our company has been independently verified (by Thawte). This means that you can be confident that it has not been tampered with, and that we are who we say we are. I hope you can trust us enough to install it!
