Wayward Gamer's reply to "Why doesn't OMGPOP make their own games?" was just promoted to the most useful! Mattmcmatt and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.

If we were to criticize every video game for being like another, we'd only be left with a handful of truly original games. All computer and video games can be linked back to older games, and those older games can be linked back to older games still. The very progression of video games throughout the decades is based upon utilizing ideas, recycling ideas and tweaking ideas.

What I would suggest to you, is to draw up plans for a truly original game and then mail the plans to the OMGPOP office. It has to be truly original though, as per your complaint.

About it:

The start of it would look like either thumbnails or like the one on the internet and you could change that in the Settings menu which you'll find out about if someone agrees to make my idea and I see it in stores and buy it. And it would have multiplayer (Local or Online). The Nintendo DS can multiplayer with a Nintendo DSi, The Nintendo DSi can multiplayer with a Nintendo DS, The Wii can multiplayer with a Nintendo DS and a Nintendo DSi, and all online systems can multiplayer with all the other online systems and computers. When you go online, you can link your system to your OMGPOP or AIM account.

Games that can only be multiplayered online:

Hit Machine
Draw My Thing
Blockles
Dinglepop
Gemmers

Only thing is, there can't be chat rooms. The only way you can chat is if you get a Wii, hook it up to the internet, open Wii Message Board, and send a message over the internet.
