All Gawker sites load extremely slow

Ping is OK but website is extremely slow to load. I'm using Chrome. It's been like this for at least a week or even more.

Thanks for the advice! I had already tried a restart. Now tried sync through iTunes but it didn't help unfortunately.

I started downloading or installing the 2.5 update and while my iPhone (v. 2.1) was doing it, I tried to open another app. My iPhone crashed, so I had to restart it (button+top button). When it started again, it tried to continue working on the update but the install took ages, so I suspected something was wrong. And it was. When it finally finished, the icon was now a new one and the first screen came up (ie the TTR2 logo) but it doesn't go into the game, bouncing back to desktop. What should I do?

Am I going to lose my high scores? :(

I noticed another curious fact: beginnings of songs tend to lag more than after Revenge mode kicks in.

I haven't detected any difference so far since the update. It seems like the biggest factors for lag are tap and hold's (each time while you're holding the rest lags a lot) and when there's a lot of notes, like Bloodmeat. It doesn't crash but it's usually impossible to hold a streak.

I use 2 thumbs with my right one doing slightly more work.

Especially I'm on some of the global highscore lists but I've forgotten which ones. It would be nice to have an overview.
