Tabs disappear after minimizing in 1.NEXT.159

1. Open up Mockups 1.NEXT.159
2. Open multiple files
3. Minimize Mockups
4. Restore

Note the tabs are not show. They reappear if you load another mockup.

I tested this again with 1.NEXT.158 and it seems fixed now. I am sure its because of the psychedelic cursor that always points to the center. :)

Been thinking more about this:
I think you could still satisfy much of this requirement by allowing a new property with each UI component that lets you link mockups together.

Mockups tab order...

How does Mockups determine tab order? I opened multiple files all at once and the tabs all seem in a random order. They don't seem to be in any order (alpha, date, size). Even if I open them in order (one at a time), they still wont stay in the right order.

I would really like the ability to reorder the tabs:
I often show mockups to demonstrate workflow by having each UI screen on its own mockup. But having the tabs in random order makes this painful. I wish they could be in order.

I've been giving demos of Balsamiq Mockup quite a bit lately, and I keep having to answer this question:

What is the link on the help menu "I need inspiration (Inspire UX)", and why do I need it?

I have even posted some of my favorite Usability quotes to this site, and I never got a response. I go to the site, and I just feel it's kind of lame. Sorry - but that's how I feel.

Does it really deserve a spot on the Mockups menu? Is it useful or useless? I'd like to hear what everyone thinks.

Double cursors if you right click in full screen mode...

If you right click while in full screen mode, you can get this neat trick with double cursors. You cannot remove the double cursor until you exit full screen mode.

After leaving full screen mode, the notebook re-appears...

After leaving full screen mode, the notebook is displayed despite it being shut off...

1. Create a mockup
2. Toggle off the notebook background (View>Show Notebook)
3. Add a UI component
4. Go to full screen mode
5. Escape out of full screen mode

Note that the UI notebook reappears....

My opinion is I don't like the human hand. I also am not crazy about the Big Ass Pointer.

What if you could toggle the cursor with a right click? And/Or perhaps if you left click and hold down the mouse, the cursor goes from normal size to bigger size (like it is now). I also think there is a case where yo don't what to use a cursor and let me use my hand-held laser pointer.

MS Powerpoint might have it right. If you dont move the mouse, after a while the cursor gets hidden. If you start to move, it appears again. They also have options for cursor type.

Hmmm - have you tried using CTRL-DRAG/RESIZE?

This is fine move/resize without snapping. Does this fit your needs?
