My crashes are doing so frequently yet giving no reason for the crash; it just goes kaput. Also, tried running w/o any add-ons or extensions & it crashed equally as many times. There was no difference with or without add-ins or extensions. MOF, it did this after a clean install of Vista Ultimate (no addition of mail programs or anything else, just OS then Firefox) on a new drive since my former drive had bad sectors; hwr, even w/a new hard drive (150gb), new fans, and new keyboard, and a new fresh FF3 w/RT install, it crashed exactly as it did before - so frequently it makes me want to chuck my notebook out the window...., which I cannot afford to do b/c this notebook is my only link to the outside world and it is the only way I can earn a bit of extra income. Contrary to popular belief, SSDI does NOT pay the bills. It does NOT even come remotely close to paying the bills. W/o my freelance work, I'd be in the poor house - financially speaking which would ultimately lead to literally speaking. – mayte, on November 01, 2008 02:56
