A: If you are using Firefox, select "Tools", "Add-ons" and then click the "uninstall" button next to Surf Canyon. The browser extension will be removed the next time you restart Firefox.

Q: How do I remove Surf Canyon from my browser's SearchBar?
A: If you are using Firefox, simply click the Surf Canyon icon in the SearchBar in the upper right-hand corner of your browser. From the menu that drops down, select "Manage Search Engines...", which will take you to a menu where you can remove Surf Canyon.
It sounds to me like you need to do the 2nd, which is uninstall from the SearchBar. Please let me know if you have any further troubles and it’ll be our pleasure to be of assistance. We hope you give it another try one day.
Sincerely,
Mark

Hello - Thank you for contacting us. Your Preferences are not stored in a text file. For Firefox they're stored in a special storage area of the browser and for IE they're stored in the Windows registry.
Is there something specific that you'd like to accomplish? If so, please feel free to send us an email using http://www.surfcanyon.com/contact.jsp. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!

Mark Cramer asked a question in Statiksoft, LLC on October 16, 2009 20:49:
Does it work with Yahoo! mail?Do LongURL work in Yahoo! mail? I just went to Facebook to make sure that it is indeed active, but it doesn't seem to be working for a bit.ly URL in my Yahoo! mail. I'm using the classic version, by the way.
Mark Cramer replied on October 07, 2009 16:47 to the problem "loading next pages" in Surf Canyon:
Hello Marco,
Thank you for contacting us. And for using our application!
If you wouldn't mind, could you please check to see which version of Surf Canyon you have installed? If you're not using v3.0.1, or can't figure out how to check, you can simply go to www.SurfCanyon.com and just click "Download" to re-install. (There's no need to uninstall first - just click & go.)
If the problem still persists, if you wouldn't mind contacting us at http://www.surfcanyon.com/contact.jsp we'd appreciate it. Either way, if you could kindly let us know how it goes that would be great. Thank you for your assistance!
Sincerely,
Mark

Hello Frogabog,
Thank you for contacting us, and for bringing this to our attention. We're aware of the limitation and are currently looking into it. For the moment we're not sure if there's a fix, but we'll let you know if we find one. I'm glad that you liked the preview images, so hopefully we'll be able to get this issue resolved.

Mark Cramer shared an idea in Yoono on September 30, 2009 21:13:
Enabling/disabling 'alerts'For the notifications, it'd be helpful if there was a global "disable." You might also want to consider "check/uncheck all" options. Finally, the distinction between "updates" and "notifications" is not clear, so it might be worth just combining them on one tab.

A comment on the question "Where is my 'options' link?" in Yoono:
Thanks, Adam. This is very helpful, but I'm not sure that I would have ever found that without this post, and I spent a good amount of time looking. As a helpful suggestion, you should try to find some way to make that more prominent. – Mark Cramer, on September 30, 2009 20:25
Adam Jackson's reply to "Where is my 'options' link?" was just promoted to the most useful! Mark Cramer and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
A comment on the problem "Cannot see the Firefox sidebar" in Yoono:
Thank you for this information! Without this post, I'm not sure that I would have ever been able to figure this out. Suggestion - a pop-up window when someone selects "close sidebar" that explains how to get it back. – Mark Cramer, on September 30, 2009 20:22
