Schedule bulletin formatting/alignment issues

My schedule bulletin is not formatting properly. Why? I've got it set to a space of 15 px, when I preview it after I work with the template it is correct, but when I publish it to play it drops the time down to the next line. See the images.

Please, please, pleeaassee set bulletins up so that when I add a text block all I get is basic Arial text with no extra features like shadow, outline, border... I've spent hours and hours setting up new bulletins and most of that time is spent turning off these features... one at a time... very... very... slowly. You guys did right by eliminating this problem in the default template, now make my next wish come true. :)

Also, the NYT image feed appears to be formatted differently media:content url.... See the link http://feeds.nytimes.com/nyt/rss/Home.... How do I format this? Is it still #ItemImageURL#? Is it even possible?

Can you tell me how to make a template that reads multiple items? Do I just list #ItemTitle# #ItemDescription# multiple times?

RSS feed ItemImageURL Wrap/No Wrap

When adding #Item Image URL# to a RSS feed, the #ChannelTitle# and #ItemTitle# need to wrap IF there is an image, AND if there is no image for that feed it needs to stay in the same place. Right now, it is hard to plan a RSS template layout if the RSS feed does not always supply a media file. If you try to put the image in front of the title, and there is no image that day, then you end up with a big empty space.

I would like more options for turning monitors on and off using the Carousel Monitor Control Schedule... Now I only have weekly controls, but it would be nice if I could have monthly controls that would allow me to turn the monitors off on Holidays... something that could be programmed for six months or a year in advance. Sustainability is an important topic right now and we don't want our signs playing to no one.

Okay, so I've experienced a couple of different but perhaps related problems... I'll have an RSS image feed working in one channel, and then I want that same feed to work in another channel. When I create an RSS feed from scratch and put in the RSS URL for the first time, the image will not come up for an extended period of time... But if I copy the RSS image feed bulletin that is working in one channel to the other channel it works immediately. BUT if I then alter the layout of the that bulletin, it won't update and the image won't come up. In general I find that changes to the RSS feed bulletin layout do not update very quickly.

What else can I tell you that might help?

Why does the RSS bulletin take so long to update?

Why does it take so long (many hours) for the RSS bulletin template to update on the sign? What's the hold-up? If I create a new RSS bulletin and alter the template, it takes a long, long, time to register the changes... The same thing seems to happen with RSS images #ItemImageURL# takes 24 hours to read the image when the same RSS feed works fine on other displays. Can anyone solve this mystery for me?

JJ- Apart from making a frame of zones around my interactive page, is there an other work around that you can think of? This is an important display we are demoing... Ideas welcome.

I think it would be nice to add some basic formatting functions to your interactivity feature for cases like this where web pages are just being displayed by carousel and not created specifically for this purpose...

Display Spacing of Items in Carousel Schedule

I'm having some strange spacing issues with my carousel calendar... I have a template set up to look one way, but when the sign reads the calendar/schedule sometimes the spacing of objects on the template are right, and other times not---they are spread out in ways not dictated by the template. Any ideas about what might be causing this?

I would love it if you made it possible to adjust the placement of the digital and analog clock within a zone, similar to text block placement.... I've got a clock that I can't hang properly, it always has to go in the center!

I would LOVE it if you could make it possible to choose which color video files fade to before they play. For instance I have a white background, if the video faded to a white background it would be seamless---that would be fantastic. Everyone loves options.

Hi Chad, we think Sophos Anti-Virus is causing the loading problem because the channels and zones are fine when using another player.
