I'm not sure if it's been said, but I think we need a food category - Continental (or something equally general) for those places that have a bit of everything: sandwiches, seafood, burgers, steaks, salads, pasta... etc...

I usually put them under "Other" because everything else is too specific and doesn't quite hit the mark.

See, I must have totally missed all the info on this whole tour... I only found out about it the day he was in town from a friend. He mentioned it being a limited stamp so I ran across town to get there after work, but alas, my phone battery died on the way, as I was checking in at spots on the way there... d'oh! I guess I should have saved my battery to get there first I was literally right outside :(

I asked @gowalla on twitter a couple of times about it being time limited but got no answer... I went back just in case with a full battery to try and get it and it was gone.

Sucks to be me :(

I'd like a category for Neighbourhood or District. I'm thinking more under Arts & Culture.

I know that here, like in most major cities, we are split into different areas like the Fashion District, Financial District, Entertainment District... as well as neighbourhoods like Kensington Market, The Annex, Chinatown and the like... while there is often specialty shopping in those areas, the allure for someone like me, a big art & history buff, is more to go there to see the old buildings and architecture, or poke around the little side streets, and learn about how that area came to be.

They are usually made up of a group of streets in either direction, so I'd prefer to tag the whole area leaving a bit of knowledge about its history rather than tagging individual shops that may now be occupying the space.

I created the Distillery District a while ago, because it's my favourite area to go wander around and take pictures, it's now full of your typical modern art, furniture and coffee shops, but all the buildings and surrounding streets are considered an historical site.
