Melanie Baker replied on November 16, 2009 15:17 to the problem ""No data" with post rank 1.0 for my all posts!" in PostRank:
Hi Arash - My apologies, we definitely dropped the ball on that. I tried refreshing your metrics, but it didn't work, so have logged a bug to investigate further. I can see where comments are not being picked up. Are you aware of any other specific metrics you have that we're not showing? Bookmarks, tweets, etc.?

Melanie Baker replied on November 15, 2009 22:56 to the question "More than one blog" in PostRank:
Well, per our blog post from last week: http://blog.postrank.com/2009/11/new-... we're working on exactly that. Will let everyone know once it's ready to launch.
Melanie Baker replied on November 14, 2009 03:09 to the question "Will PostRank pick up IntenseDebate comments?" in PostRank:
Hmm, looks like it stopped at the end of July. We were picking them up until then. The platform should be fine -- I've scheduled a refresh for comments, and will take a look in the morning and see if that's solved the issue. If not, I'll get one of the developers to take a look and see where the problem might be.
Melanie Baker replied on November 13, 2009 19:02 to the problem "Blog posts no longer pulled into Postrank. Didn't change feed." in PostRank:
Hi Jay - Just to update you here, what we *thought* was causing the delay doesn't seem to be the issue in your case (posts are caught up, for example, but some metrics are still missing or behind). Unfortunately, couldn't learn that til the upgrade was completed. Sorry again for the additional delay. However, I've outlined to the devs exactly what's missing, and that's being re-investigated.
Melanie Baker replied on November 13, 2009 16:46 to the problem "New posts not added since late August" in PostRank:
Thanks for reporting this -- looks like the feed stopped updating. I've fixed that, and posts are showing up for November now: http://www.postrank.com/feed/56b5e63c...
Melanie Baker replied on November 12, 2009 22:07 to the problem "Slooooooow feeds and other odd behavior..." in PostRank:
That's not actually how the system works. But in related news, on your feed posts are up to date, but when we were doing some work on your metrics today, we noticed something wasn't working right (basically they're behind, not matching up with your site, and aren't responding to the normal update processes).
So in good news, that's been logged and we can investigate it as the more likely issue cause. In bad news, things aren't working 100% just yet. Sorry about the additional delay...

Hi Greg -- I'm seeing your posts up to date now: http://www.postrank.com/feed/8856d5cc...
I'm seeing content in the Analyze view of your Analytics as well. When you have a moment, can you check and let me know if if you see anything still amiss on your end?

Melanie Baker replied on November 09, 2009 18:24 to the question "Pages or just Posts?" in PostRank:
Hi Jonathan -- The ability to monitor pages is a request we've gotten a few times. More commonly it's for sites where the blog is just a small part of the online presence, though WordPress pages, for examples, make it a bit tidier.
At present we're at the stage of discussing how we'd build/implement that functionality, but we don't have a specific ETA on when that would be rolled out at this point. It would, however, be an Analytics-specific feature.
Melanie Baker replied on November 07, 2009 03:52 to the problem "Slooooooow feeds and other odd behavior..." in PostRank:
Hi Jonathan -- Yep, we know about that issue. Unfortunately it's affecting everyone, not just you. The fix is in progress, and things are slowly improving, but the system's not back to normal yet. When things are working better I'll let you know.
Re. the duplicate feeds, that can happen sometimes when slightly different versions of a site are submitted to us. I'll submit a request to have those combined.
A comment on the problem "PostRank not grabbing all sources" in PostRank:
Yep, things are starting to update slowly, but the guys are still working on it. Same as before -- once it's fixed, I'll let you know. :) – Melanie Baker, on November 06, 2009 17:35
A comment on the question "How can I reset AideRSS index for my blog? (feed id 304670)" in PostRank:
Hi Tomasz -- I've removed the records, but it caches for 24 hours, so I will check back tomorrow afternoon to make sure the feed has been removed. – Melanie Baker, on November 05, 2009 22:20

Well, a couple of good starter pages to explain how PostRank works are here: http://www.postrank.com/postrank and here: https://analytics.postrank.com/docs/e....
If you have additional questions beyond that, let me know.
Re. comparing to other sites, regular PostRank only compares your current performance to your own past performance, not other sites. There are a couple ways to compare to other sites, though. If you use the Google Reader plugin, and have a folder of feeds, in that level view the PostRank scores are "Thematic", which means each feed is compared against the others in that folder to get the score.
Additionally, we have an API that enables that comparison, but it's something that would need to be built into another app or functionality.
