A comment on the question "What is an alternate service to I Want Sandy?" in I want Sandy:
I really, really WANT Sandy. Remember the Milk is probably fine, but it just doesn't feel right. I got my first email from RTM this afternoon, and it just wasn't like seeing Sandy's name. RTM doesn't wish me a cheery good morning, doesn't call me by name. There was something special about having Sandy remind me to do something. RTM is just me reminding myself; if that worked, I wouldn't have wanted Sandy to begin with. – Melynda Huskey, on December 05, 2008 02:20-

Different Tweets for Different Audiences? My boss wants to Twitter--but he wants to be able to send some tweets to a small group of people, and other tweets to a gigantic group of people. Are two accounts the answer?

More Choices = More LoveI love Sandy; I couldn't manage without her. But without disloyalty, I sometimes think it would be fun to have some other choices of personal assistant: a faithful robot companion, say, or a lab-coated Igor (are my geek credentials showing?). . . each scripted differently, of course, but on the same basic model. I think people like to personalize, even just a little. And when I realize how "real" Sandy is to me, and to the people who know she works for me, I wonder if you couldn't generate even more loyalty by playing to that anthropomorphizing impulse.
