One of the main reasons I own a PS3 is for the media capabilities - internet, Blu Ray DVD player, DIVX compatibility, etc. But what has really put me over the top with my PS3 though, has been its ability to stream media from my home computer to the PS3 and my flat screen TV. Using the TVersity software available from tversity.com, I was able to start playing my media content which was previously trapped on my desktop on to my PS3. Now, I no longer have to sit at my computer screen and watch all those movies and TV shows I've downloaded on my desktop, nor do I need to burn my media on to DVDs or transfer them to my MP3 player. TVersity really takes your PS3 to the next level and is easy to set up. Of course you will need either a wireless or wired network connection to your PS3, but after that, you're good to go.
