Meredith asked a question in IZEA on August 14, 2009 16:18:
How do I close my account? How do I close my account? I have not used PPP in quite some time and although I earned over $1500 previously, it is a very different service now and I am no longer interested in participating. I never used SocialSpark and I would like to close that account too.

Aha! Good to know mdy, thanks. A bit like Flickr users who don't have Pro accounts being able to access more than 300 images IF they know the URL for them. It would be rather a chore to find all of mine, but at least I know they're still there. Thanks! – Meredith, on March 24, 2009 07:17-

A comment on the discussion "Pagination, Timeline and Archive Fixes" in Twitter:
Thanks! I am actually already using TweetBackup, and it was their FAQ that led me here. The question was "Why are there only 3200 tweets backed up?" The answer led to this page, and pointed out that that's how many are in the archive. What I'm wondering is if that's all that Twitter stores - whether they discard tweets that are older, or if they are just inaccessible through standard API methods and such. Basically, my question is - are they GONE, or are they just hiding? :) – Meredith, on March 24, 2009 07:06
Meredith reported a problem in iFlyGo on March 24, 2009 06:56:
Not an airline, but a travel agencyiFlyGo bills itself as "Hawaii's Low Fare Airline" and claims to have "code sharing agreements" with airlines like Mesa and Island Air. It's not actually an airline at all, but rather an online travel agency, similar to Travelocity or Orbitz but specifically targeted to Hawaii. Although it's a very convenient way to find low-cost inter-island flights, once you make a booking you find yourself locked into a ticket with massive cancellation and change charges.
My complaint is not really with the way iFlyGo runs their travel agency, but rather that they present themselves as an airline. Also, iFlyGo appears to be a business name for Royal Adventure Travel - that's who my itinerary information came from after I booked the flight.
A comment on the problem "Stop posting ST replies" in SecretTweet:
I'm new to ST but I really like this idea: 5 flags gets a comment removed. I think commenting is important because I can certainly imagine people would check the website to see what replies their secret has gotten, and in some cases these may be validating and comforting. – Meredith, on March 24, 2009 06:31

Meredith replied on March 24, 2009 06:07 to the problem "My Facebook for Blackberry app keeps crashing repeatedly." in Research In Motion:
Honestly, the Facebook app is extremely unstable - if you check out websites like Crackberry and BlackberryForums you'll see it causes all kinds of crashes, failures, and errors. Storm and Bold users (OS 4.6+) are already using Facebook 1.5 which reportedly fixes many of the memory leaks and other issues that plague the previous versions; hopefully it will be available for the rest of us soon!
Unfortunately the usual recommendation for problems with the Facebook app is to uninstall it. Their mobile site is pretty good these days; it's worth checking out if the app is too frustrating for you.
Meredith replied on March 24, 2009 05:50 to the discussion "Pagination, Timeline and Archive Fixes" in Twitter:
I see that the archive is only 3,200 tweets; the TweetBackup faq refers to this as a "bug" - is it really a bug, or is it a "feature" instead? I just passed 5,000 tweets and I'd like to have them all; is this something that could potentially be retrieved someday, or does Twitter discard the old stuff?-
