suzanne: you need to enter your feed URL, rather than the blog URL itself. I believe in your case this should be http://feeds.feedburner.com/typepad/EXEd
viv10/megamommy: unless you provide some information (in particular the feed URL who doesn't parse), it's not possible to give any further help.

The solution to my problem was somehow related to the server-side code that generated the RSS XML, specifically I think it was something to do with UTF encoding and 'BOM'. The feed itself was passing validation at http://feedvalidator.org, which would pick up on invalid dates. – Doug, on August 18, 2008 09:34
