Why when I insert my mobile phone I have to check the "It’s okay for Twitter to send txt messages to my phone. Standard rates apply."? How many messages Twitter will send to me? Why? I want only to send, not to receive. So I'm in control of my twittering expenses...

Hello, I would like to inset a multy day event, but it seems that this is not possible. Am I right? If so, when we can expect having that feature?
