Everyone's reply here is pretty old, but this is definitely not working. On Firefox, on Safari etc. In OS X 10.4 and 10.5. First I'll get a handful of "Please enter a valid email address." And then on rare occasions, I'll get "you have no contacts" which not true.

I can second SMS not working for o2 Germany; it worked for a day when I did the whole "delete and start again" thing, but not anymore...

I celebrated too soon. I am receiving [some] notifications, but not all. Not even all @ replies are getting through.

For me, it seems to be related to the caching problems described here:

Nothing in UK, O2 network this morning. Plenty of messages on twitter that should have arrived, nothing via sms at all.

I hadn't received any SMS notifications since Sunday (got my last one at 16:41:59 on Feb 03).

Location: Germany
Carrier: T-Mobile DE

Just did a 'Delete and Start Over?', (re)confirmed my mobile phone and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Erm... Just FYI, I have now received my Tweets back. I clicked the button - 'Delete and Start Over'. Then, I added my phone again. It worked. I am not sure whether it's a proper solution or just a coincidence.

My SMS updates in Singapore seem to have turned off since 25th Dec as well. Before that, it was sporadic.

Yeah.. same here! Using Firefox 2.0.0.11. But, one point is I have 200+ contacts in my Gmail. Does it cause the login problem?

I still get the message "Something went wrong with the remote service...". I have a lot of contacts at GMail but I can use the service at other websites without any problems.

I still can't find people at GMail. Twitter searches for ages and sends an error msg after all.
