That's correct, I never changed the genre in Songbird. I added lyrics (and saved). I did this with 3 songs (all classical) and then returned to iTunes. I had these same 3 songs with a genre of "32".

Possible Genre Corruption when using both SB & iTunes
Going back and forth between Songbird and iTunes (after an iTunes synch) causes issues with genre.

1 - installed Songbird and synched my iTunes list
2 - played songs and loaded/saved lyrics from the web
3 - returned to iTunes the next day, genre for song was changed from "classical" to "32"
