Hi Ike, this is somewhat true, and we will be adding a more obvious list of answers in the future. For the time being, if you put your mouse over the columns on the graph, the responses will show up in a little popup bubble. I hope this helps.

I actually run thin and the way I usually tell is when the average application throughput is above zero but one or more instances is stuck at zero requests per minute.

Lew, one thing that would be invaluable would be alerts for frozen mongrel/thin processes. These are relatively difficult to find and I've found RPM very helpful in diagnosing these problems. Hopefully this will be in the alerts release!

Rotated rails logs no longer updated?

Ever since I started using new relic in production, my logs stop whenever they are rotated out (every night). After the rotation I get zero logging. I have not changed my setup at all since the rotations worked fine, other than adding the new relic plugin.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas for why this might be happening?

Obviously I've checked the permissions and so forth, everything seems fine.
