Michael replied on October 25, 2009 23:28 to the problem "Xmarks keeps crashing Firefox!!" in Xmarks:
I think that people using "crashing" is the wrong word here: hanging, not responding are better, since the program stays open, not crashing, but whites out. I stopped it by turning off auto synch. With synching on, Firefox would hang repeatedly through the day (just calling home, I guess). I just completely flushed and rebuilt Windows (Vista) on this computer, and it started doing it right away, so it's not sqlite, or any other defective program--it's Xmarks doing its thing. . . . and doing it wrong.

Michael asked a question in Xmarks on June 26, 2009 17:49:
Is there any way to turn off the "time out" function?Often at work I will use a computer for the whole day, but not want to put XMarks on it. Is there a way to turn off or lengthen the period to timing out so that I don't have to keep logging in all day?
