Good suggestions, Kevin. I getting the feeling that Sandy's helpers don't realize just how much a problem it is not providing an option to use boolean logic on searches. I have a lot of stuff in Sandy, but it is just too difficult to extract exactly what I need when I need it. – Michael, on August 09, 2008 01:56

This problem seems to be less of a problem now as opposed to when I first started this thread six months ago. I still occasionally find that Sandy doesn't properly forget items when you respond to a numbered list and your response includes several items, e.g., f #1 5 8 9 11. Also, to forget the entire weekly sequence of items be sure to include the @weekly tag in the forget response otherwise Sandy will only forget the current item.

I have a similar problem, I think. I have added Sandy to my Google calendar, which is neat, but the Sandy calendar in Google has the wrong time zone. It's set correctly in Sandy AND it is set correctly in Google, but it's wrong on the Sandy Google calendar. I can't figure out how to correct.

Last response was six months ago . .. I too would like to use some boolean logic to my searches. As I understand it if I search by the tags A and B, Sandy returns a list with those items that have both tags followed by those items with only the tag A, and then those with only B. But as my Sandy data grows these sorts of list get very, very long. I really need to be able to search for just those items that meet all conditions.

I wanted to give an update. Yesterday there were several mobile text reminders that I just didn't get. Today, I found that they came through -- eventually, though quite late. Something, I guess, is making Sandy sluggish again.

Not sending txt messages reliably

For the past two days, Sandy is no longer reliably sending txt messages. Sometimes, she sends them, and sometimes she doesn't. I haven't had this problem before. Below is the info I sent Sandy earlier today, but no txt message came, though others did.

Forgetting not reliable when replying to Sandy

I like to review my daily digest a couple of times a day, updating it each time, by hitting reply and then issuing a command which I send back to Sandy. Most frequently my command is along the lines of, say: f #4 6 9, where these numbers refer to numbered items in the daily digest. I find, though, that Sandy isn't reliable about updating -- sometimes the items are forgotten and sometimes they aren't. I often have to "forget" the item multiple times before it takes.
