Thanks! I still have the problem of having tags that when I select them, Sandy says it can't find any matching items. Sandy suggests that I check archive, past, and done items, but still I can't find any matching items. For instance, I literally have a tag that is a ------ (a long dash). Don't know how this happened. Probably a transcription error from Jott. But in any case, I want to find the item and delete this tag, but I can't find the item. – Michael, on June 15, 2008 13:06

I often log onto Sandy and review my tags because I like to clean them up from time to time. However, I can't get the hang of how to use them. For instance, once you click on a tag it seems to stay selected, and is added in to the next tag I select. How can I deselect a tag? Also, if I have two tags selected is the logic a conjunction or a disjunction? Also, I have tags appearing that no matter where I check, e.g., past items, done items, archived items, I can't find anything with those tags. They clutter up my tag list.

Problem with lookups

When I do a lookup that returns more items than Sandy can fit in one email, she puts a link at the bottom of the page for More Results. Clicking on it takes you to your Sandy account, but I find that Sandy then tells me that nothing matches my query, even though I know I have more items in the lookup.

I'm puzzled. After sending Sandy an item, I realized that I forgot to add the phone number. I thought this would be easy to do. I logged on to Sandy, found the item, and clicked on "edit." However, this brings up a brief dialogue box that provides the name and other fields. The part I need to edit was further down in the context. I clicked on "more context" and could see the area I wanted to edit, but could find no way to do so.

This question was posted in another form three months ago, but no one answered it.

For me, at least, I'm disappointed to see the filters and sort options eliminated. Without them, I don't understand how to go about cleaning up tags. I use Jott principally to communicate with Sandy. sometimes Jott misunderstands a tag. So, I would log on to Sandy occasionally, click on my tags, sort them, and then correct the tag errors. Now I seem up a creek without a paddle.

It's not graceful, but I find the following works for me, though others have reported having trouble with it. In any case, try saying "tee-oh-dee-oh," followed by saying, "That's t o d o," where you spell out "todo."

I communicate with Sandy mostly through Jott, and often there are transcription errors, which I need to correct. I need to be able to find recently updated stuff for review. This used to be available, but seems to have gone away.

Hey, you want people to use this product, and the "Sandy" reference is a problem. I just had a colleague who was fairly angry with what she thought was the implied sexism in the name "Sandy" for the service. You can rail against political correctness all you want, but if you want more people in corporate and educational settings using the service you need to address this issue.

Rael, thanks for the update! However, the problem hasn't been just today. Sandy has been slow for the past several days with lookups sometimes taking hours. Unless there has been an influx of new clients for the past few days, there still problems to be solved.

I have had this problem all week. Lookups take several hours. Reminders are coming hours late. I know that this is a beta test, and so problems would be expected, but there ought to be a notice posted on the web site when there are major problems, such as this one.
