Adding Invoices!Your system isnt allowing me to add any invoices! Every time I click "save" it just takes me to a blank page (https://xyz.paymo.biz/invoices/do-add) and doesn't save anything!
I first thought this was an issue because I was interacting with your tite via two browser windows... but I only used one window during my second attempt!
The only other thing I can think of is that I'm on my 3rd invoice on a free account! But as this is in my "limit" I cant see what the issue is!

Yeah, I see what you were doing... I never really read the old text! Its just there is such a big difference between the first two sentences and the second.
I personal think the background should be a pale green, some thing like - #EEFFDF, which would allow the title and the first two sentences to stay the same... but the third sentence onward should be in brown (#583605) with the font-weight set to normal (instead of bold).
Also... I would put in a style for visited links, as the standard browser purple doesn't really go with your colour scheme!
Anyway, Just a thought!
(p.s. Where have you been hiding Kristina? I haven't seen you on here for months!)

Michael Howe asked a question in AboutUs on October 01, 2009 01:02:
Why have you changes the list description style?Hi,
At first I thought it was a fault, so I decided I would leave it a few days untill I posted on here about it... But after looking at the source code I saw the css tag "aura-extra strong.first-two-sentences"!
I personally think that this new style change it makes the descriptions hard to read and makes the list pages look poor! (Especially on the URL-Shortener List - http://www.aboutus.org/list/url-short... - as the 3rd sentence relates to the 2nd... But is now in a different size and style)
Bring back the old green background and plain text, with maybe an underline for a link, is what I say!
Kind Regards
Michael
A comment on the problem "No way of listing - VirginLimobike.com" in AboutUs:
Hi Mark, I have added most of the suggestions I have found still outstanding and posted them to http://aboutus.org/SuggestionsFromGet... The only things that are missing, are the ideas that are hidden within bug / issue reports. But I'll get around to that this week! – Michael Howe, on September 29, 2009 04:08
Michael Howe replied on September 29, 2009 03:55 to the problem "How do we now search for non domain pages?" in AboutUs:
Sorry its taken me 5 days to get back round to replying... I still think the best ways to solve this issue is to have an "advanced search" or implement a suggestion functionality.
This way if users want to find non domain / user pages they can use the advance functionality! Also if the suggestion functionality was implemented this could bring up a box, while the user is typing, suggesting domains and lists that are similar to the words imputed!
As for the current functionality, I think that if a user searched a full domain name or the exact name of a page, from any page, it should just jump straight to it. (as it currently does for domains).
Then if the user enters a search for a word or two then it should take them to the appropriate list (Giving them a link to the google search results at the bottom). Then if there isn't a list / collection of tags that matched that search then the user should be taken straight to the Google results.
How does that sound?
Michael Howe replied on September 29, 2009 02:15 to the idea "Better use of meta tags!" in AboutUs:
I know you've implemented the title functionality... (and I like your idea better)... But have you thought about using the topics as keywords?
Also with the new logo section have you thought of adding an image alt tag... (i.e. "xyz.com - Logo")... as this small edit is likely to help with the AboutUs page's SEO score!
Michael Howe replied on September 29, 2009 02:04 to the idea "Tag cloud and topics" in AboutUs:
Thinking about it... Surely this wouldn't help that much?!?
If your making the most popular tags larger then the users would be encouraged to click on tags that wouldn't shorten the list by much!
The only way to do it would be the most frequently clicked tags from that exact search... (I.e. if your on the URL-Shortener list and most people clicked on the tag "statistics" then this would grow in size.)-

A way to see just your own questions / suggestions / problemsMy Idea is simple... I would like a way to filter results by user... This would help me find all the questions / suggestions / problems I have submitted or all the posts I have replied too!
Currently there only seems one option... and that's looking back through your own stream which in my case contains 28 pages and sometimes loads of replies to just one topic!
I hope this can be implemented soon to stop me pulling my hair out! :)
Kind Regards,
Michael

List issues!Hi,
While editing the URL Shortener list I noticed these issues!
1) Not all additions (using the bottom input box) show up straight away... Digg.com was listed yesterday (apparently at number 2) but its not showing up!
2) The list total at the bottom states that their are "181 websites" and increases by 1 everytime I enter a domain... but after clicking the "show 20 more" link 21 times I found out that there are 402 links within this list (not counting digg.com and other pages that are tagged but not displaying in the list) (Please Note: I have previously reported a similar issue... but I couldnt find the post again here to update it!)
I hope this post helps!
Kind Regards
Michael
Michael Howe replied on September 27, 2009 23:33 to the idea "search url alphabetically" in AboutUs:
After re-reading what I wrote 8 months ago... I don't agree with myself!
I still think that alphabetical could be useful in some circumstances... but the Date Added & category are useless / pointless!
I do have some I would like to see though.
The ability to reorder lists;
* Alphabetically
* Most Viewed
* Most recently edited
I just hope you are able to implement them before I change my mind again!
Michael Howe shared an idea in AboutUs on September 27, 2009 23:11:
New functionality for lists & list keepers.Hi,
As the list keeper for the "URL Shortener" & "The Virgin Group" lists I have found that it would be useful for the ability to "watch" them and get email updated...
I suggest that this would work slightly differently to the page "watch" functionality, by allowing the user to choose whether they want to follow;
* The page description & title,
* The tags & summery's of all the pages listed (or at least the top 10/50/100/1000??),
* The list additions
* ...or all of the above!
Although the middle two may not be as useful on big lists... It would really help me "list keep" my two small lists.
My next suggestion is for full wiki functionality! I see that wiki linking has now been implemented, but I would like the ability to revert edits in the history section.
My last suggestion is simple... A "page style" hit counter please!?
I hope these suggestions are useful!
Kind Regards
Michael
