A comment on the problem ""Select Next Tab" keyboard shortcut broken in Safari 4 Public Beta" in Apple:
Hmm, I didn't have anything set up for Safari 3. I did do a "Restore Defaults" on my keyboard shortcuts (even though there were no Application specific shortcuts set up), and it still behaved the same. I've set up the tab switch as Cmd-Option-left and -right (like Firefox) and it works fine – Michael Klett, on March 24, 2009 14:54

"Select Next Tab" keyboard shortcut broken in Safari 4 Public BetaI originally thought this was a system-wide problem with the Control key, but I've isolated it to the Safari 4 Public Beta.
The advertised command for "Select Next Tab" is Ctrl-Tab. But this key sequence for me behaves the same as merely pressing tab. Adding the Fn key to the sequence invokes the "Select Next Tab" function (Ctrl-Fn-Tab).
I have verified that keyboard shortcuts involving the Ctrl key behave normally in other applications.
