Michael Lee started following the idea "Educational Rhetoric" in Get Satisfaction.
Michael Lee replied on August 12, 2009 01:09 to the question "Cannot transfer any files - always get same error" in Sci-Fi Hi-Fi:
So I had the same error for a little bit with the latest gen iPod nano on first trying to use it to copy songs over to a new MacBook Pro. Turns out the problem simply stemmed from not having turned on "Enable disk use" in iTunes for my iPod.
I was confused for a while because on initially connecting the iPod (while PodWorks is running), the application downloads the songlist correctly -- problem is that after the iPod is automatically ejected from iTunes the application still displays the songlist, attempts to copy the songs off it, and fails (with an incomprehensible error) when I try to send all the songs to iTunes. Enabling disk use (and clicking apply) fixed this for me.
Michael Lee asked a question in Primate Labs on July 15, 2009 13:51:
Error running geekbench: No such file or directoryWhen I try to run geekbench (the 32-bit version) on my Linux machine, I receive the error "-bash: ./geekbench: No such file or directory" -- what gives? (I've successfully run geekbench on two other Linux machines, so I'm not entirely new at this)
