Michael Muse replied on October 05, 2009 16:37 to the question "How do you upload your "buzz it" comment" in buzzd:
Beverly,
Which version of buzzd are you using - iPhone, BlackBerry, web, or mobile web? There are some minor differences on each - on iPhone it says "post" in the top right corner, on BlackBerry it has the green "post it" button, etc. We will work on making this easier to see, and let me know if that answered your question. Thanks very much - keep the feedback coming!

Hi Andor - Currently we dont officially support service in the Netherlands, but feel free to go to http://buzzd.com/m in your mobile browser and you can check our listings. Since you have an international phone number, you will need to join there (not on the downloaded app). On that site, there is a direct link to download the BB client at the top of the page (please use your standard BlackBerry browser).

Once you download, just log in with the username and password that you set up on the mobile website. Be warned that we havent tested it there, and that we will not be able to automatically detect your location. Let us know how it goes!

Hi Andor - could you explain this a little better? Are you trying to download the app - or did the app redirect you to your mobile web browser, and now you want to get back?
We would love to keep as much of the BB experience in the app as possible, but we are in beta currently and of course we can only get so many features in. Tell us what your top pain point is with the app and I will make sure we get to work on it.

You can download the new version of the Blackberry App, which has these features, at http://mobile.buzzd.com
More on the upgrade is here:

If you dont have a BlackBerry, add venues on your phone or from your computer by going to:

Michael Muse replied on August 21, 2009 15:01 to the question "Where is the Address Book?" in buzzd:
Also - when you 'Add to Address Book' - we are adding the venues name, phone, etc to your BlackBerry's Address book (your contacts). I use this a ton - every time I want to look up the number for a place I call a lot (for reservations or delivery or whatever), I used buzzd and add it to my address book for later, and then click to call from within the app. Its super useful.

Jimmy - We are plugging away at our iPhone App - but what you have described above is one of the primary things we want to accomplish with the next version of the Blackberry App. In the mean time, we have created a new version (download it in AppWorld now) that will log you in to the browser site automatically if you access it from the Options menu. Go to Options, and click on 'Edit profile' - it will log you in and remember you when the app takes you back to the browser - which will at least be a little faster. The new version will also notify you any time we release a newer version - so make that upgrade! Full details here: http://blog.buzzd.com/?p=68

you can add a place here: http://buzzd.com/m/venue/addPlace
We will take the info and add it to the database. Hope that helps - thanks for your input!
Michael Muse replied on July 14, 2009 18:18 to the problem "No more friends on Buzzd?" in buzzd:
To clarify - you have to be in the 'MEET' section currently to search for users. You can do that here: http://buzzd.com/m/meet
We are working to integrate user search from the universal search bar on every page. The social elements currently are a little easier on the mobile version of our website, as our non-mobile website is still in beta.

Robert - we are working on some fixes for our website - in the mean time - you can update your profile on our mobile website - from either you computer or your phone: http://buzzd.com/m/profile
Let us know if that helped. Thanks Robert!
Michael Muse replied on July 09, 2009 14:41 to the question "Gmail should support HTML in signature." in Google:
cgriffeth - if you put a link in there, it will be clickable once you hit send. The issue is that you cannot do colors and bold, etc. If you want a way to consolidate all your sites into one URL, check out unhub. I put this link in all my signatures: http://unhub.com/michaelmuse/
Michael Muse shared an idea in Google on June 30, 2009 18:11:
Better searching for messagesI currently use tags and filters, but there are other things I would like to do:
Sort lists of emails by date, sender, subject (if it is a thread with multiple messages, use the most recent one for the sort).
Create advanced searches by combining quicklinks, tags, and commonly used attachments (i currently tag excel, powerpoint, and jpg files and search that way). Ideally it would be a drag and drop thing with a freeform search box to improve your results. You could specify if things are exact matches first, and then closest match second (maybe dont meet all the criteria).
Would love to see this stuff. Its the only good reason to use Outlook
